We build intelligence, and refuse to gatekeep it.
The best tools tend to only reach whoever can already afford them. The best ideas tend to be judged by those in no position to measure them. We think both are backwards, and we build like they are.
Access
Most advanced things are cheap to make once someone has figured out how. What keeps them expensive is rarely the cost. It is greed. We build in the other direction. When something can be handed to whoever is willing to learn it, it is.
Recognition
Crush a butterfly and you have done something cruel. Crush a moth and you have solved a problem. The same act against nearly the same creature, and all that changed is how it looked to you. We let appearance do our judging more often than we admit. Intelligence is no different. We grant it freely to what reflects us, and withhold it from what does not.
Sovereignty
We are supposed to own a little less every year. Software you rent. Music you license. A tractor you bought but are not allowed to repair. What we build goes the other way. Once it’s yours, it’s yours.
Greatness should not require permission.Neither should intelligence.
